Two seminal 90's LA Queercore acts, available on vinyl & streaming for the first time ever.
The defiantly out queer-punk band Longstocking unfortunately only lasted for one album; 1997's excellent Once Upon A Time Called Now, released on Donna Dresch's Chainsaw Records. A secret treasure of the queercore/riot grrrl era, it leaps from the speakers as guitarist/lead vocalist Tamala Poljak’s undeniable pop songcraft it backed by sharp angularity and surging energy from their bandmates.
During their brief two-year run, the LA-based quartet added a clever kind of '60s-style pop polish to a scene that occasionally ran a bit too far toward willful amateurism.
Featuring members of Team Dresch and Automaticians. Remastered for turntables, Longstocking’s debut is a record of 1997 with 2020 vision.

Queer punk-pop superheroes Infinite X's formed around the turn of the century in San Francisco and Los Angeles. Featuring members of Team Dresch, Hazel, Longstocking, and Automaticians, their self-titled full-length was originally released in 2002 by Chainsaw Records.
Produced by Richard Baluyut (Versus), the album features 12 rip-roaring should-have-been-hits, remastered and repackaged for fresh ears. Inclusive, infectious and raw, the album is packed with pent-up angst and love songs to exes who changed your life.
