This zine re-imagines and draws Bea Arthur as a butch lesbian. In this work, Kaia attempts to fulfill her unmet need for seeing butch representation in pop culture during her young teen coming out days of the late 80’s. The drawings serve as an homage to Bea Arthur who was a fierce protector of queer rights and just fucking cool.
